Abigail Rumph
Abby Rumph grew up in Fair Haven, New Jersey as the youngest of five children. She currently resides full time on a sailboat, the S.V. Everyday, with her partner, Max. They have dreams of sailing around the world in 2025. Until then, they are docked in Sea Bright, hustling in their respective fields. The ‘Sailboat Studio’ serves as an inspiring hub for her unique designs.
Abby earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (2015) and obtained a Master's Degree in Art Therapy/ Counseling (2017). She believes that art IS therapy.
Abby is privileged to learn from creative parents and talented art teachers that led her to where she is today. She is honored to serve as a positive example for young budding artists via "Art Appreciation" classes. The curriculum is designed to educate and empower children.
Art is truly a universal and accessible language for all, when given the opportunity. Abby is very passionate about art, helping others, the environment, and psychology. She strives to make sustainable efforts while creating whenever possible (e.g. repurposed/hand painted oyster shells, vintage collages, and recycled bottles as vases for felt flowers).
