“Abby is such a talented, detail oriented, and thoughtful artist. After meeting her a year ago at an art show and falling in love with her one of a kind Christmas ornaments, I commissioned her to create a little gift for my future husband on our wedding day. She was able to create a beautiful oyster shell ring dish that was exactly what I envisioned. She got every single detail perfect all down to the colors in my dress. The process was so fun, relaxed, and personable. The best part was picking up the shell on her sailboat and spending the afternoon with her and Max. "The first class my daughter took with Abby they were learning about Van Gogh. Every student did their own take on Starry Night and it was incredible to see how each child interpreted it. Every piece was so different. I knew right then we had found someone really special. Abby is not only talented but so sweet and really teaches the kids about the artist. My daughter actually asked for a book about Dorothea Lange after learning about her. She’s also incredibly generous-when she was commissioned to do a mural at Dock Donuts she let the class also be a part of it. Like what an incredibly thoughtful thing to do. My daughter has now taken every series she has offered at Little Chicken. We may be groupies. We have also commissioned Abby to do a Christmas ornament and a piece for my aunt after her beloved dog passed away. Abby puts so much care into her work. I cannot recommend taking her classes enough. It’s been truly remarkable to see how my daughter’s work has progressed. My family-especially Grandma!-absolutely adores her.“
