“Dream-scape” Self Portrait

We have access to such a fascinating range of emotions as human beings. When we breathe in to the vulnerability of unbearable pain/grief, our hearts have no choice but to expand under the immense pressure. When we consciously choose to unroot our deepest issues; intergenerational trauma, greatest fears, and hidden shadows.. in turn, truth and compassion rise to surface. The collective heals through shared experience and unconditional support. Art allows me to track patterns of lapse and growth. I’ve realized that my self portraits all tell a similar tale: I must protect the light in me in order to honor the light in you.
